In the depths of the Atongo Valley, crossing the river where Tepoztecatl, the patron saint of the town, once bathed, beyond the houses and hotels of Tepoztlán in its vibrant center, lies the hidden and unchanging Little Deer Park. This sanctuary, dedicated to protecting life, serves as a pathway leading to a beautiful lookout point and secluded waterfalls.
For just $20.00 pesos, the Guardian of the Deer will grant you access to the Sanctuary and the lookout point. If the day allows, they may even provide food and permission to feed and pet the deer in their enclosures. In addition to the lookout being easily accessible, it also features a unique spot in Tepoztlán with caves and ancient rock paintings.
An activity for the whole family in Tepoztlán, in a safe, well-maintained, green, and vibrant space near Mexico City. Located in the Atongo Valley, where you'll also find "La Posada del Valle", an Oasis of Rest and one of the oldest and most iconic hotels in Tepoztlán.
We will wait for you in Tepoztlan!
